the Plane-crashs monument

Das Flugzeugabstürz-Denkmal (Plane-crashs monument) 2003-2007
9x9cm Notepad paper.
ink on 9x9cm paper, variable height, work in progress.

This “monument” is an over-sized pile of notepapers, in which every sheet is marked with a stamped date and classified in chronological order, like a calendar. For the days in which such Airplane crashes happened, images of the wreckage are printed on the sheet. The classified images remain only visible by the fine black lines they are drawn on the side of the “paper-tower.”
