The full serie of dates of date-stamps are printed on long fax-papers, in a chronological order.
The timelines produced by the use of different stamps are all different in length, not because of the availability duration of these objects -which is often standardized on 12 years- but because of the size of the object itself.
Unlike the works of On Kawara, the chronology do not reflect the artist´s lifetime, but the time in which the stamp was in use, which can be as far back as the 1920´s.
So the Dating series are like cheap time-travels for office workers....
