The Maneki-Neko cats are luck charms intended to attract wealth. These articulated plastic figurines are sold on the Internet or in cheap Chinese shops in Europe. In Beckoning, they are placed in the lockers of a former Bank in order to produce a repetitive and sweltering sound by hitting the metal walls.
